Expedition Whydah – Provincetown

Expedition Whydah in Provincetown, Massachusetts is CLOSED for the season.

Whydah Coins

For over two decades, Expedition Whydah has provided the public with a unique glimpse into the history of Golden Age of Piracy and the science of underwater archaeology. Situated at the end of MacMillian wharf, the Provincetown location also serves as the headquarters of the Whydah project’s ongoing diving operations and is home to the Vast Explorer research vessel.

Whether you’re looking to explore the fascinating story of Whydah, or picking up some pirate regalia in the gift shop, or simply to top off a scenic stroll through the heart of Provincetown’s commercial district, the Expedition Whydah Learning Center is worth a visit!
