The Whydah Pirate Museum is run by a small, closely-knit, and dedicated staff, alongside generous contributions by local volunteers. The museum is currently looking for additional volunteers to help us manage our daily operations, especially during the peak summer season.
The responsibilities of museum volunteers may include helping out at the front desk, attending to the gift shop, or interacting with museum guests in the exhibit halls. Our volunteers receive complimentary access to the museum and discounted entry for family and friends. Our volunteers will also get to meet and learn from the archaeologists, divers, and researchers who work on the preservation of the Whydah—they may even get a chance to meet Barry Clifford.
If you are interested in being a part of the team, please email the museum’s box office. Be sure to include a brief cover letter about yourself and your interest in the Whydah Pirate Museum. A resume containing relevant background and work/school experience is also preferred.
